We are very happy to announce that our researchers have recently won awards for their work and had their theses approved at the traditional Environmental Law Congress of the Law Institute for a Green Planet in 2021. They received first place in the Master's category of the X José de Andrada e Silva Award.
1st place. Author: Juliana Chermont Pessoa Lopes. Article: “Litigating the Climate Crisis: An Analysis of the Application of the Structural Process to Brazilian Cases”.
2nd place. Author: Carolina de Figueiredo Garrido. Article: “Climate Litigation: A Look at the Global South”.
In addition, our researchers Maria Eduarda Segovia B. Neves, Luciana Tse Chaves Garcia Rego, and Anna Maria B. M. Cárcamo had their theses approved.
